Question about Parents Visitor Visa Application

I am preparing the visitor visa application for my parents, they plan to visit me in September.

Here is my problem:
My current work permit expires on June 19, 2015. My SOWP was received by CIC on June 2, 2015. Based on the processing time from CIC website, I will not get my new work permit until September.

My parents wants to send out their visa application in July.

Is there any risks to be refused? I explained my work permit issue in the invitation letter, what else do I need to attached as a supporting documents (e.g. Payment Receipt)?

I hope to see them in September.

Thanks a lot.

There are always risks to be refused... no matter how solid the application is.

My question would be... why would your situation have any impact on your parents application? They are the ones who have to prove ties to home country, financial stability, travel history, etc. Only and only after they have proven that they are returning back home your supporting documentation will be considered.

So I wouldn't worry too much about your situation as long as their situation is solid.

Thanks for your reply, Jalex.
My citizenship and immigration document is one of the document on the list requested by the visa office. So if my parents send applications in July, then my work permit will be invalid document that time. That is my concern....

Thanks again for your response.

Make sure this is true.

TRV applications require very little from the inviter (usually ID, letter of invitation and financial proof if any).
