Dear All: I sponsored my parents and sister to Canada , first step is completed that I got confirmation from Mississuaga office now it is tranferred to india now my company wants to relocate/tranfer me to US so my question is can I still maintain my parents sponsorship case while living and working in US and paying taxes in Canada and US. one more thing I am canadian citizen.

looking for response.

Are you a PR then know you must remain in Canada until the process is complete.

I dont see why not if a Citizen can go to another country to stay with his spouse till they get their PR i dont see why you cant.

You must reside in Canada to be eligible as a sponsor for your parents even if you are a citizen. The only exception is for spouses, common-law partners, cojugal partners or dependent children.

See Section 130 (1) & (2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.

It's physical presence.
