Question about goods to follow list

Hi, I see some people mentioned its good to prepare a goods to follow list before entering Canada . Do I have to mentioned all the items list in a form including that are taking with me in checkin and carryon bags ?

You need to prepare two forms - GTA (Goods to Accompany) which lists all the items that you are carrying along with you. The second form is GTF (Goods to follow) will lists all the items that you are planning to import to Canada at later times. Template for both forms are same and the only difference is that of a checkbox which state whether it is a GTA or GTF form.

Thanks, template you mean excel document I create by my own? is there any form for GTA and GTF ? So far I created an excel and listed items and their value in second column.

I used the below form for both GTA and GTF. There is a checkbox that indicates whether the form is for GTA or GTF.
