Hello!I'm in the process of applying for my long term student permit.

I was wondering what I had to write under the "Funds Available for my stay" section,I've already been to a visa consulting agency and they told me I had to write the total cost of my studies.
I'll be attaching a picture of that particular section.

So,say its like this
Tuition : 16338$
Room and board : 7400$
Other : 6500$

According to the agency,I have to write the combination of these under "Funds available for my stay",but it doesn't sit right with me,I feel like I have to write the amount that I've shown in my sponsor's bank account (I've shown a sum around 40-45k CAD there)

PS : I've received a scholarship, should I write the discounted amount in the tuition section or the default amount?

Would really appreciate the help.

The rule of thumb for IRCC (it is definitely due for an update, but be that as it may . . . ) is CAD$10,000 for an academic year to cover living expenses, after tuition has been paid.
"I feel like I have to write the amount that I've shown in my sponsor's bank account "
I'm not sure what that means. The more you have available, the better.

the amount you mention as "funds available for stay" must be accompanied with relevant bank statements with exact same total amount.
You have to put the default amount in tuition fee and in other section, u can mention about the tuition fee scholarship amount

I know that the IRCC uses that "formula" and I used it as my basis of proof of funds.
But,according to the agency I visit, they say that I should show the total of "Tuition,Room and Board,Other" under "Funds Available for my stay" section.
Kinda like this

Tuition : x
Room and Board : y
Other : z

Funds available for my stay : x + y + z (and nothing more)

But I don't think that's right,I've decided to put the number I've shown in the bank account there, thought I wanted to make sure.

thanks a lot, think I was about to make a mistake there
By other,do you mean put the scholarship under Proof of Financial Support?
pretty sure that capsulates scholarships : "proof of funding paid from within Canada, if you have a scholarship or are in a Canadian-funded educational program"

yeah. better to attach the scholarship letter first and then your bank documents in a single pdf

x+y+z should be less than or equal to the funds available for my stay + other (scholarship amount)
