Question about CSQ

Hello all!

I got a question concerning the CSQ.

In the Sponsor Guide, it clearly states that the decision from Quebec is automatically forwarded to the VO:

'' Undertaking approved

If your undertaking application is approved, you will receive a letter in the mail confirming its
acceptance, a copy of the approved application, and an envelope containing the Québec Selection
Certificate which you must send to the person you are sponsoring.
The decision of the MIDI will be sent directly to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada office that
is handling the application for permanent resident status of the person you are sponsoring. ''

But I've seen people on this forum sending by themselves the CSQ to their VO...and I got confused. What is the best to do ? Thanks!

Hi,

Definitely send a copy personally. It may say MIDI will send a copy but you can't rely on them.
There are too many examples they haven't done it.

Thanks Shantaveli ! It's probably better they have the CSQ twice than having a delay because they will ask for it later.

So I guess once I got it, I could just send it to the VO via the case specific entry online?

That is exactly what we did

Better safe than sorry! However, in our case the MIDI did send a copy of our CSQ to the VO (Warsaw).

You got the point For my situation, from gcms note, i saw that the VO got my wife CSQ when a sent it to them, not from the Quebec goverment.
You can scan it and it throught e-mail to your visa office.
