Query regarding Spouse's family members' travel history

Hi,

I understand that providing travel history for last 10 years for primary applicant and spouse is mandatory and can be produced.
However, in Accompanying Spouse PR Form, it says :

"Has XXXX, and if applicable, XXXX's family members taken any trips outside their country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since their 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago)."

Does this mean I have to collect travel history of all the parents, brothers and sister of my spouse and add with exact dates ?
If yes, when I check YES for above question, it doesn't show any way to distinguish if it this travel event is for XXXX or any of her family members.

Though my spouse has never had an international trip, her family members had multiple trips.
So should I select NO or YES for above question. And is it mandatory to add spouse's family members' travel details and if not provided, could it be a reason of rejection.

Any help from your past experience is highly appreciated.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Under "Accompanying Spouse PR Form - > Personal details -> Travel history".
I am copying below exact statements from myCIC :

Provide details of any trips XXXX has taken outside his/her country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since his/her 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc.
You can tell us about each trip by filling in the fields below.
Check the list at the bottom of the form first to see information you have already saved.
• When you click "Save and Add", each trip will be saved to the list.
• The fields will go blank to let you add another trip.
• Use the modify or delete button if you want to change a trip that you have already saved to the list.
Has XXXX, and if applicable, XXXX's family members taken any trips outside their country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since their 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc

See the last line, which has a pin-down answer as YES and NO.

Travel history is for you and your spouse only.

Thank you. I am baffled by "XXXX's family members" wording in the question.
I am relieved now that I will not have to ask each family members' passports and check their stampings.

Thanks again for the response.

Hi! XXXX is main applicant, family members are his dependents in an application, i e spouse, children. When you fill in data post ITA there is a question mark for each entry. Click it and almost always its bery clear what
CIC wants, it will help you avoid confusion. I read post from a guy with same problem. He filled in trips to USA by relatives in his spouse part of application. And his spouse never went to USA in fact, so they didnt provide USA PCC for her. End of story for their application.

No, in this case XXXX is not primary applicant but accompanying spouse. The above question is Accompanying Spouse PR Form.
In a separate section, family members are spouse, children, parents and siblings. So the question is ambiguous.

Well, if you insist, you may include all family members into travel history. Question is why add TH for people who are not on the application as dependants? Will you provide passports, PCCs for them? How will you distinguish spouse from her relatives in TH?

That was my initial query. It doesn't show how to distinguish. So its a CIC bug.
And now that you guys have responded, I will not care about this and will simply say 'NO'.

I wouldn't insist on anything that can cause trouble. Thanks again for the support.
Basically, we already know something doesn't make sense but getting to hear from other people is a confidence booster.

I am the main applicant and spouse is dependent. Now if I fill mine and my husband’s travel history in this section together, how would they distinguish between the travel histories of two of us????

Hello. Please have you been able to find a response to this? I am stuck here too. I do not know whether to add the travel history of my sibling or not.

Hello Akashagr,

The definition of family members may be helpful to you. From it, I think we do not need to include the travel history of parents or siblings.
