Query on graduate degree program at Centennial College (Jan 2014)

I am a software engineer having almost 3 years of experience in IT industry.I had a career gap of 1 year in which for few months I was in Canada on dependent visa.I got a job offer from a consumer credit reporting agency,but was unable to join as I had to return to India due to personal reasons.My visa got expired on September 2012.

Now I would like to join Centennial for my graduate degree(Jan 2014 intake).I am an Electronics and Communication Engineering graduate.

I have scored overall band grade of 7.0 for IELTS
I have already approached a consultancy for the visa process and admission.The courses which I am interested are(in order of preference):
Human Resource Management
International Business Management
Project management
Global Business Development

Anyone please answer my queries?

I like to move from technical side to business analyst.
1)Which course will be the best for this?
2)How long will it take for visa process and admission?
3)Will Centennial College accept my application with my current IELTS score?
4)Will I get a student visa once I get an offer letter from the Centennial College?
5)Is getting admission for international students in Centennial tough?

1. If you want to get into business side of the organisation then i would say International business or global business development. Project manamgenet will lead you to project manager.
2. Admission can take a month and visa another 30-45 days. The process is long since you will arrange finances ( either how to show to visa officer or a bank loan). You will need admission from the college first which takes app. 1 month for colleges to respond to application and then arranging requisite for visa. Once you apply visa it takes 12 working days.
3. I do not think Centennial college will deny ur application however please check their pre requisite and create a very strong statement of purpose both for college and visa. Your consultant will help you.
4. Visa can be tricky at times but if you are going through a good consultant it should not be a problem. Consultants take around 20k for canada visa but they know the trick.
5. I dont think so , getting admission in colleges is not tough but univeristies are. ( best of my knowledge)

All the courses except GBD is 1year.
Will I get work permit after completion of my business studies?

I have heard and experienced how challenging is to get a job for a person from software field in Canada as most of the companies looks for candidates with PR.

How about the job assistance and placement cell in Centennial?
Is the Progress Campus a good one?

can any one advise that after completing I yr pg course from centennial college in human resource management, how much time I will get for study permit in canada .
