Hi Seniors ,

I am looking for Quebec Skilled Working Visa 2014 . Please provide me information for the following questions ,

1) I got 55 points in assessment regarding Quebec Visa .
2) My consultant asked me to provide only IELTS score , he told that french is not mandatory . Please suggest me is it possible to apply the visa with out french score ??
3) is french is mandatory ?? or if i have basic knowledge in french at the time of immigration interview is it ok to get me visa success .

Looking for your valuable information !!! Please update the current information after the change in rules in Quebec immigiration !!!

hi - this is a very popular topic and frequently asked question ....

as i have been following the forums since quite sometime, almost everyone says the same as your consultant " you can apply to Quebec without french and you still get a file number"

however here are the facts that also people are experiencing at the current process:

- an application for CSQ with a basic french test results is always better than an application without french test.
- even if you applied to Quebec without french, and you got a file number, you may still should continue studying french, to a higher level.
- sooner or later, and during the interview, they would definitely ask you for your french level, and it would help your interviewer to approve your application quickly.
- while waiting, continue studying, be prepared to pass an exam, as they might ask you for it at any stage.
