Hi,
I am planning to apply for Quebec skilled worker program this year. I applied for FSW in 2013 and unfortunately I couldn't make it before the cap reached in my job category.
I have more than 10 years experience in USA, and sick of waiting for GC here.
I heard from one of my friend that, one need to have minimum level French language to get PR through Quebec skilled worker program even after meeting points criteria without French. Is that true?
My friend also has 7 years experience in USA and got qualified points for Quebec skilled worker program, and he applied 2 yrs back. He got a letter for interview in new York after 16 months. When he walked into the interview office in New York, everyone started talking in French even the front desk lady. She told him that he should be ready for interview in french with the officer. And my friend has no French language skills, so he did not even attend the interview.
I am wondering if someone can share their experience who got PR through Quebec skilled worker program, and has no French knowledge...how they succeeded in the interview without French?
