How many times have you submitted a web form since then? And what was their response to your latest inquiry please.

This is their response: Please be informed that we are awaiting the results of some internal processing prior to the finalization of your application. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times. At this time, there is nothing that is required on your part. Your continued patience is greatly appreciated

I received this response after calling them by 1 week (Beginning of march)

I submitted a webform on Monday, still waiting for their reply

i am on my 20th month now. 20 month 7 days. looks like Sydney office is the one lacking!

Yeah from what I can deduce I think Sydney can be really slow...guess because they are the CIO office

Does everyone have the same message on their progress bar? “Your application is taking us longer than usual to process”

One thing I really couldn’t find logic of.. why someone of waiting so longer and some of us are getting DM in 19th months.. I really do need a logical explanation for that really..

Well for me, I have not been able to get anyone to explain that to me also. Technically there should be an explanation at the least but all they do is keep us in the dark.

We have started receiving good news i see.. in the spirit of good news, i finally got hold of someone in IRCC today for the first time in millionth try!

so the kind soul i spoke with was really kind enough to give a detail breakdown, which i would like to share.

to sums up the telephone conversation the guy said i passed eligibility, medical exams AND passed 1 of the two section of background check. what he said there are two section Criminality and security checking. my criminality check has been done and i passed. They have not yet start doing my secruity check. however since i have submitted a web form two weeks ago the case manage was informed that i have exceeded 20th month . this guy on the phone said, now its matter of time when the case manager open those message and start working on Security checking!

anybody here waiting over 20th month has similar telephone experience?

Did you ever request for GCMs note while your application was less than 20th month?

If yes..what did your Security say?

no i have not request this note. care to share what this notes does?

It gives details and status of the whole application process except for Security. I also had my Security as not started but had S'15 written at the top right hand corner of the security page which means they dont release this details as stipulated by the Constitution.

Am highly hopeful for those of us that have crossed the 20th month. It will come and am sure of it 1000%.
Let us just keep our fingers crossed.

I requested gcm notes in february and got them in march. All passed and security has not started yet. Am getting used to the fact that i wont get my pr in 2019

We will get it for sure. However not before we have exprienced a hell of anxiety and frustration.
I do not have a back up plan
