This 27 months is such a joke. 2 years of life, unbelievable. Add to this preparation for PEQ program, for example (like LMIA, VJO, 2 years of work experience for now + French).
Meanwhile people from outside of Canada applying to EE, get their PRs and live happy life

When I first applied to QSW, there was no EE program at all. Year of 2014.

Yes adding a new passport wont cause any delays. I renewed my passport and send them new one through the form upload. My case timeline is in signature.

Today, they will do a press briefing about Immigration issues at the National Assembly in QC city.
