@legalfalcon I did an upfront medical exam as a QSW PR applicant. Now IRCC is still requesting a medical exam. My panel physician will try merging the UMI number with the IME number provided by IRCC and send the IMM1017 sheet to them. How long will this take in your estimation? Please advise.

@legalfalcon I did an upfront medical exam as a QSW, today I got a medical request from IRCC. I went to panel physician office and they say its possible to change the IME number and resend the medical results. Is this the best way to do it? Any other steps and advice you can give me?

But Info Sharing does cover security partly, correct? Even though the security check will be a process on its own.

@legalfalcon My Info Sharing has been in "READY TO BE ASSESSED" status for a while now. My Criminality passed, but Security is not started. Does this Info Sharing entry have to do with Security?

Yeah perhaps, but in my case I am the only one coming here, they should check only me out. The thing is if I want to sponsor my parents they would go through criminal/security so maybe they would not check them out. IRCC just wants to be nosy about how many immediate family members you have.

Yep I've had work permits and study permits with Canada, no issues with criminality and security and it goes very fast. Why is it so slow during the PR process? When we fly back to Canada, we hand over our passports to check if we are wanted or have a criminal/terroristic past and that takes 10...

A while ago I saw someone post on the FB that he contacted the MP and the MP asked them to accelerate the process for him. Who knows, try.

That sucks man, perhaps call your MP and ask him/her to ask IRCC to accelerate your file. Don't know if it will work but you can try.

Yea Dec. 1st to the 20th they should be busy. Anything after that will probably be the computer releasing notifications.

There should be a lot of AORs given in December so that they can fill the quota starting January.

So I guess this week they are giving out CoPRs and I guess next week they will resume giving out AORs so that they can start filling January 2022.

Lets just hope that 2022 is a better year for all of us.

The only hope we have is that it will be December in a week. Since IRCC has 70,000 PRs for QC to work with, a lot of AORs should be issued next month to start filling the quota for January 2022 for Quebec.
