inland PEQ applicant...applied on 1st November 2017. Had my medical 7+ months ago...It's my 17th month :(

I recently got my GCMS notes and my security location changed from "ready for PS- " to "PS- ". But this change was on 4th October 2018, about 5 months ago...and no update since then.

Why are they holding up most of the applications in final security stage? :(

From wich visa office did he\ she received DM? As my timeline is exactly same and i am from NDVO.

What is the meaning of PS Please?

I read from another post that PS means provisionally selected, pending security. Basically now application is with CBSA and I don't know if it's stuck there or at CIC.

My application along with most others is stuck at this stage mostly. At this rate it will take more than 20 months as they are increasing processing time every two months or so :(

What is the meaning of PS Please?
I believe it's Paper Screening.
I'm in the same situation as yours in my GCMS and share almost the same calendar as you. Nothing changed...

Unfortunately I think it's also because of the recent Quebec laws to reduce intake from 33k last year to 21k for 2019 for permanent residents...so that will further slow down and increase processing times even more :(

can you apply through both QSW and express entry? has anyone done this?

I got this reply from London visa office web forum...
Does that mean my file is finalised or is still in bg checks???
