Hey everyone,

I’ve recently received the Pre-arrival services letter message, but haven’t heard back in about 3 weeks. From what I read, this was a good indication of the process coming to an end soon, even though it’s going fast already. I’m applying inland.

Here’s my timeline:
AOR - May 25th 2018
Medical Request - May 25th 2018
Medical passes - June 1st 2018
Pre Arrival Services Letter - November 3rd 2018

My background check is still ongoing and has been since June 2nd, so I guess that’s my hold up?
Hi did you recieved your ppr already? We have the same timeline

Hi... I found it on CIC website. Is this of any use?

No image???

Yes Eva ,on online tool it's only gonna show they recieved medicals but on gckey it will show you pass the medicals. But also I think they only update if you pass the medicals .

Thanks

Where can I check about my medicals are received or not ? I don’t have GCkey account and I don’t see any update in https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/
Also how would I know about background checks has started or not ?

Thank you Neil82 for the information
So dear EVA RAO, the waiting period for processing is about 3 months after receiving the medicals from the physician
I hope the PPR will not take that much time

Dear Mgazi,

Yesterday I received info from my VO that my file is in queue for final review. Could you tell me what this means and if BC and Eligibility is passed at this point?
Medical already passed as per My CIC account.
Also she said they can finalize in two months or less.

Hi!

anyone payed the fingerprint fees before they ask for it? I read that it may speed up the application if it is already paid.
