Congrats! Nice to see DM this week for Oct applicants.

Well, we just contacted MP of center-ville. We had a meeting with him, but he didn't say anything

Does somebody remember what the Iranian applicants did when they saw huge delays on their applications? They collected signatures (well, initials) into a collective letter and then what? Through an immigration lawyer or did someone submit it somehow directly to CIC?

Congrats and thanks for posting timelines....

Things seem to be moving:
Guy who had his DM two days ago (17oct app) had his ready for visa today.
Another one (14oct app) ....ready for visa today.
And a third (20oct app) ...ready for visa today.
Another 17oct app ....dm 20nov ...ready for visa today.
All of these are french and inland ( i suppose)

Need a suggestion from those who have received PPR. I am travelling out of Canada in first week of December. Just wondering if I should send my passport for PR or wait till I return back? Based on others timeline, I doubt if they will issue a visa before December 1st. Any suggestions in this regard are welcome

Keep in mind that you have only 30 days to deliver your passport to Ottawa ... seems risky to me.
If for example you're travelling to your home country , i suppose you can send your PP to the local canadian embassy.
If in doubt , contact them.

Thank you for your response. I am travelling for an academic purpose (not my home country) for a week. If I send my passport now, I highly doubt it will be returned before December 1st.
