Hello friends,
So here is my final update.

I received my COPR on the 5th September.
I decided to do the Landing through the appointment in the IRCC Montreal (I live here as a temporary worker). So I called CIC and requested an appointment. I was told that it would take 15 business days to receive a communication from the Montreal office with a date and time.
Well.. it took almost 2 months to receive the IRCC communication, which apparently is normal nowadays since they receive lots of requests.

So finally the day arrives. I'm a bit nervous.
Everyone was super nice, from security to the immigration officer.
Documents requested: COPR, CSQ, Passport (with my Work permit) and RPRF receipt.
Very simple questions were asked: Date of arrival and Address to ship the PR card.
They gave me information about the PR status in Canada. 10 minutes and it was done.

It was very quick, simple and pleasant. It was basically me providing those documents and receiving lots of 'Congratulations' from everyone, even security. Lovely landing :)
It takes a few weeks to get an appointment, but other than that, I recommend it to everyone already living in Montreal.

Thank you for the important support I received here. (Campbell Cohen services were crucial too).

I would like to wish you all the best of luck and patience!
Stay strong! We're warriors! :)

Congrats! While you calling for the appointment, may i know what details they had requested to book the appointment?

Thank you!

To book an appointment, I called the CIC call center as usual (1-888-242-2100) and chose the option 'check my PR application status' and then requested to talk to a client support agent.
I was asked just 3 questions (after the usual security questions to verify your identity):
1- My application number,
2- If I had already received the paperwork with the original COPR,
3- Which city I wanted to do the 'landing'.

They then request the appointment and you just wait for the communication (in my case it was an email) with the date, time, address and what to bring.
Pretty simple and straightforward.

I see, sorry I did not read very carefully before. Good luck with your landing!
Oh it's quite alright. I am not at that step yet :) but thanks anyway

Hello all,

I would like to ask if you have an experience with Scotiabank start right program? How was it? Is it safe? Many thanks! God bless us all. :)

You should post such questions in this forum:

I took Scotia's StartRight and I have nothing negative to say about it. Only suggestion would be to stay away from their "free" locker. It's size of an envelope. Free only for first year and then $65 + tax after that. Also if you lose locker keys then fine in $200 CAD.

I am inland applicant, i am currently in my home country. VO Ottawa. I am planning to stay in my home country for couple of months. So, if i do not update my current address with my home country address, does it make any problem, when will i get DM or co-pr? Or, if i change current address, does it change my VO or increase processing time. If, everything is remain same then, i want to update the current address. Could any one explain the consequence or the matter, i am confused about it.

When did you apply? Are you expecting a DM soon?
