I RECEIVED MY AOR ON 26-01-2016.

STILL DID'NT RECEIVED MEDICAL REQUEST.

I SENT REQUEST TO UPDATE THE STATUS ON OCT-2016 AND GOT MESSAGE THAT IT IS UNDER PROCESS.

STILL WORRIED.. WHAT TO DO NEXT?

the best thing to do is to request your GCMS notes, to do so there is 2 ways:
1- someone you know who is a Canadian resident can request the notes on your behalf and will cost 5$
2- you can order it your self using caipsnotes.com and it will cost you 40$
they need max 40 days to send you the notes by email.

I am bit confused. They have received my medicals and changed the status of it, but they still review my eligibility? Is it common? It means they change the eligibility after finalizing everything, I mean before requesting passport? Please share your ideas.

Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not Started
Final decision Not Started

CIC deducted PR application fee $550 from credit card.

Federal PR Application in QSW catagory sent: 25 Oct, 2016
Federal PR Application in QSW catagory received: 27 Oct, 2016
$550 application fee deducted: 31st January, 2017

What would be the next steps? Can someone explain the details kindly? and if I want change my address for PR application when can I change it?

AOR should be the next step if you have not received it. Then MED exam and PPR i guess.

You should receive your AOR in theory by or before the 2nd of March. Upon receiving the AOR, you should be able to change your address.

Your AOR will have UCI and APPLICATION number. You will use it to update the address using online request.

i am glad that my comment kind of released you from anxiety (even just a bit)

from other threads of this forum, I learnt that the time between PPR and CoPR can be as short as several days to as long as a bit more than a month or so. (if it's across salutatory holidays--esp Christmas-New Year time, it's very likely it'd be at least 2 weeks). But for sure, it's very straightforward job at this stage on the CIC side (there are just some obvious things to check and do not require third party such as the case it is in criminality/background check). They are stuck by their own system I would say (even though how efficient they hope to be).

indeed my experience was that: I called around 2 weeks after I sent PP copy. The operator @call centre could not give me any information (she said she could not see that they received my package). But then I got GC-key/MyCIC updates almost 10 hours after the call, and the envelope was activated the next day. There was probably no relation between my call and their processing. But somehow I felt that they might kind of "look into it" after my call. (I think it'll never hurt if you call. If you have time and could tolerate the fact that they could not give you much information, I would suggest you call. Call them at 7:30am as someone suggested here. I did last time, and I reached someone at that early hour, even though they officially open at 8am.)

same status is shown in my CIC as well .i think its normal

Great news my friend!i just found it activated around 6pm, the fun part is that i checked it around 5:55 and had my dinner with a sad face lol
i am not sure it will be delivered tomorrow or on monday, coz it just said Item processed.

yes, in this case, it's either tomorrow or Monday. But for sure it's coming!
