It helps a lot... thanks

I'm totally rush for the RAMQ because I have an open work permit (valid in all Canada) so we don't have RAMQ, and as you may know is really expensive every single medical expense, and with kids is just insane.

In the RAMQ website says that you have to bring the originals or certified copies, I hope that at the border they can give us certified copies. If not will be another stop in the Rally :o
OMG a rent Bill? I don't have that, good to know I'll call my landlord to ask one, the lease is not enough?

what do you mean with the insurance is valid immediately? Is there not a waiting period?

@alemom, i am on open work permit too (PGWP), but I believe in this status as temporary worker, we are all eligible for RAMQ. How come you haven't got it?

I applied for it on November 30 2015 as soon as I got PGWP. The waiting period from then to the time I received the card (about 3 months) was not covered by the insurance. (OMG I cannot believe that I am going to surrender my precious and expensive PGWP!)

I'm not sure, cohenbrother. They mentioned they have to have a way to proof you live in Quebec, but I guess you're not the only person without a rent, so they probably have an alternative for you.

Because as post graduate your work permit is just valid in Quebec, mine is valid in all Canada as the wife of an international student.
I totally agree, is ridiculous, I went with the CSQ and my pay slip ( I pay the Quebec taxes) but the agent told me that unfortunately, I'm not eligible for the regie with this permit (neither my family)
So I'm more rush for the RAMQ that for any other document :'(

According to the Regie website those are the Proof of residence
Proof of residence consists of one of the following:

Copies of all the pages of your residential lease or valid rental contract made out in your name, including the location (address) and duration of the rental, as well as the signature of the parties, i.e. your signature and that of the owner (renter) or of the owner's representative
Copies of all the pages of the notarized deed of purchase or deed of hypothec of your residential property, specifying the name of the parties (buyer, seller or financial institution), the location (address of the property or building) and the signature of the parties
An attestation from your employer specifying that you hold a job in Québec and containing the following:
your last and first names
the name of your employer
the address of the head office or place of business, the last and first names, and the telephone number of the employer or of the employer’s representative
mention that you are holding a job in Québec for this employer
the date of signature, as well as the signature of the employer or of the employer’s representative (you may not sign the attestation yourself)
The attestation must be issued within 45 days before it is received at the Régie.

We recommend that you send us documents bearing the company letterhead or logo, or that you enclose a business card along with your documents.

An attestation from an accredited educational institution located in Québec, dated and signed by a designated officer or bearing a seal confirming your enrolment in a program of studies. It must show your name and the institution contact information, and be issued in the 45 days before it is received at the Régie. The educational institution must be a primary-, secondary-, college- or university-level establishment, and the program of studies must lead to a diploma or attestation of studies.

A sworn statement sworn statement
A statement made under oath and signed before a commissioner for oaths. from the owner, the owner's representative or the tenant (whose name appears on the lease) of the residence where you live, issued in the 45 days before it is received at the Régie.
A copy of a landline, electricity or cable bill, or tax notice (municipal or school tax), showing your name and address.
Documents not on the above list will not be accepted.

Hope it helps, but as you said things change everyday

wow that's ridiculous! i count myself to be very fortunate. (I only used the RMAQ card once so far---and it's for minor thing, I sprained my ankle and needed some advice to get healed). And, I tend to identify myself more with Quebec culture than Canada. It would be unfair because it's valid in all Canada then u can't get Quebec medical insurance. (But I believe my PGWP is also valid for all Canada).

Anyway, every cloud has a silver lining. Your CoPR, RMAQ, new SINs, and PR cards are all coming very very soon with your super duper bright future as newly landed immigrants!

Hello,

I received my AOR today. Now I want to send PCC.

I am lil confuse as where to send document.

Hello,

Now I am in confusion as I want to send PCC but not sure where should I send:

In email I receive it says
"To notify CIC of changes to your application, select the office stated below, and follow the directions for “Case Specific Enquiry.”
and In email office stated below is:

Centralized Intake Office
P.O Box 7500
Sydney, NS B1P 0A9
Canada

But when I go to link above and go to "Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada" There is different Po Box for Quebec skilled worker address.

Centralized Intake Office – Quebec Skilled Workers (QSW)
P.O. BOX 8888
Sydney, NS B1P 0C9
Canada

Which one should I sent to?

Can any one help me? pls....

Did you see any changes in your CIC account on the day you received your AOR

Guys

Does anyone know how long it will take to get PR after CSQ in 2017?

It generally takes 12 to 18 months after you submit your federal application.

What should I bring to the boder in order to land? I am planing on Next Friday. My package is in montreal now, probably will be out for delivery Monday

Or the instructions will be in the return envelope?

I think the passport, money proof from bank, no job for me now(doesn't matter right), anything else
