I know the answer is somewhere in this thread but I need to ask again.

What should I bring to the boder in order to land? I am planing on Next Friday. My package is in montreal now, probably will be out for delivery Monday

Or the instructions will be in the return envelope?

I think the passport, money proof from bank, no job for me now(doesn't matter right), anything else

yes my envelope too has arrived in Montreal since 2:30 this morning! I just called CanadaPost and was confirmed that there is no weekend delivery this week (but yes, during holidays, they deliver on Saturday for certain areas). And it is quite certain that we will have the documents this coming Monday.

I believe it will be a good idea to bring the CSQ too, and of course the CoPR, in addition to passport, proof of money and income. Someone suggests that we should bring PR Card Application (IMM 5444E), filled pre-printed. But it seems they should have it available.
I also would like to know what else we should bring. I am planning to land on Tuesday.

I am not sure if it is mandatory. But someone in this forum (perhaps in other threads) shared their landing experience that they would be asked about their job or to show their bank account balance etc. I find this a bit troublesome indeed.

So do we need to apply for the PR card? I thought that it was done... I prefer to have it ready !
what else is recommended?
proof of money? two or three account statements?
@Smearingo do you remember where is the other post about the landing experience?

I hope that my envelope is in Montreal too and see you on Tuesday

I just found it! page 400, pay attention to MR21 's message (importantly, we need to carry all existing study/work permit):
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/quebec-skilled-worker-federal-stage-after-csq-t298038.5985.html

and I was reading this in other threads (but it's FSW programme, I think the only difference is that we, as QSW applicants, should carry CSQ too):
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/landing-in-canada-all-you-need-to-know-t36735.0.html

[edit]: MR21 mentioned that the PR card application had been done automatically with our initial PR application. So I think the form is not necessary.
The other thread's info was from 2010, it might be outdated.

is there someone here without RAMQ? I mean, someone else has to apply for the first time to the RAMQ?
My concern is the proof of landing, do they keep the documents or do we need just to show them?
I don't want to "leave" my CoPR and @MR21 says we will need to save and use in the future
Do anyone know if at the border they can give a certified copy of the CoPR?
it's a long long long weekend

I believe we just need to show them. When I applied for it with PGWP, the lady took a brief look at the work permit and then she gave it back to me. I think it'll just be the same for the Proof of Landing (that is, the signed CoPR)--- they should understand that we need to retain the original copy for life.

Actually I think we can do the flagpoling in Montreal instead of going to lacolle boarder:)
how?

Do you mean to land by making an appointment with CIC office and validating the CoPR?
Then this is one of the two methods of landing process that CIC suggests. But it is not flagpoling.

The second method of landing is to leave Canada and come back, in airport or at land border Port of Entry.
Only doing that via the land border is considered "flagpoling"--which is not an official term, as figuratively it involves a trip around the flagpole. It is not only for landing, but can also be a method to extend study/work permit, including the application for post-graduation work permit (as I have done before). And as far as I know, it is impossible to "flagpole" at the airport. You can land in an airport at your arrival leg to Canada. (but again, that is not flagpoling).

Making an appointment with cic will take longer?
