Hi everybody,
30 minutes ago we received an email from CIC, 4 days after we sent a complaint.
Here is what they wrote:

"
Dear Sir/Madam,

Your passport has been received at our office and will be returned to you shortly.

Your documents will be returned using the provided Xpresspost envelope. If you have followed the instructions on the website and kept note of the tracking number, you should be able to follow its delivery on the Canada Post website.

We thank you for your patience. In order to efficiently process requests, we will not reply to duplicate emails.

At least this is a CIC confirmation that they have the passports and not just the full green bar of the CanadaPost webpage.
I hope they really "' will be returned... shortly".

This response is nice (at least she is sure the package has not just been received but is also being processed---though I would hope that she could be more careful and use plural for "passport" in response to your case....)

Now, "shortly" is the keyword! I hope their understanding of this adverb's connotation is not far from ours.

Hello Guys

I have two questions.

1- I had a new boy and i asked for CSQ for him, and I paid the fees of CIC and sent them the Birth Certificate and all other required docs ..
Is it possible to do medical in the mean time ? i have very limited time due to some business, and i have some time now, so can i do medical for him without receiving the form ? I don't know his UCI yet !


2- I noticed that names in native language is required in for IMM5406, I sent the form like 5 months ago but i didn't notice that natve names are required, do you think i have to resend it ?

But when I go to link above and go to "Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada" There is different Po Box for Quebec skilled worker address.

I'm planning to drive to the border early in the morning, so that I can do everything else (RAMQ, SIN number, etc) during the same day.

Nothing on my end yet though.

I'm blind, so my hope is that our Xpost it was processed "shortly

I guess that we can ask certified copies of the IMM1000 at the border, we will need for the paperwork
