I'm not sure, but I recommend you to look in this table that @pareshprince made:

If you do the calculation with those that have received the Medical Request, the time varies a lot and is because it looks like that they held all the cases (files) and sent all the Medical Request at the same time in December.
You'll see cases (files) with AOR from March 2016 to December 2016, and all received their Medical Request between 22-29 December 2016. That put the time between 280 to 27 days!

So, the question is how is the modus operandi of the VO? and if they will hold again the files this year.

Are there any Mexican (or people that lived in Mexico) inland applicants who required the Mexican PCC to be obtained through the Canadian embassy in Mexico City?

I am an inland applicant, and I assume my VO is Sydney/Ottawa. I got AOR in november 2016, but so far no additional requests (including PCC). I read that if you are an inland applicant, CIC laters calls for the PCC and you send your fingerprints to the Canadian embassy and they request the Mexican PCC on your behalf. Has anyone gone through that? Any ideas on delays? or even yet, is the file transferred and finished processing at Mexico City VO or is it still processed at Ottawa?

Please, share if you have any info!

I need any of your suggestion on my situation as below:
I received my CSQ & applied for federal PR which is in process, waiting for AOR.

Currently i am on closed work permit working in Montreal, my current WP expires by Feb last week 2017.
My employer say i have to go back as i complete 5 years, i know they can extend my work permit with my CSQ, but they say they cannot do as per their policy with CSQ unless i have PR in hand.

Is there any way to get open work permit from border(as i have less time before my current work permit expires) without showing any employer offer, i have offer from my current employer which was 5 years old.
Please suggest me some better option.

did u submit pcc with ur application or this is the first time you sent your pcc.

I have already submitted pcc along with my application. Do i still need to send scanned copy too.
When i sent passport copy and rprf to delhi office. I got auto reply of "Auto reply : your email received, if reply is justified, we will write you back in 30 days." but dint get any document submitted email.

How long do you think before I get the COPR? Anyone received their COPR in 2017 from the Ottawa Office yet?
