One comment about the passport request. You will need to send your passport with a prepaid Xpress Canada Post envelope. Don't forget to write down the tracking number of that Xpress envelope. ;)

Does somebody know another way to track the returning passports?

We forgot to write down the Xpress envelope number. :'( :'( :'( :'(

When you bought them together they should give you a rectagular piece of paper with both tracking numbers.
What happened to me was, the lady asked me why I wanted it for and when I said for the PR passport she said you should get two xpress envelopes and add the small one in the larger one. She added 2 stickers in a piece of paper for both tracking numbers (not on the receipt). So you should have it as well. Check it out.

and finally , after 5 years and 2 month , I got PPR on 5th of january 2017... lot of emotions are mixed.....

It looks like they have assigned Application no EP0000000 and will start processing your file. In general when you initially file your application they give you XEP0000000 no. which is temporary untill you get EP0000000 no (AOR).
This is what I understood till now after monitoring multiple threads on forum.

I am still waiting for my AOR (EPXXXXXXXX). Right now my application no is XEP0000000.

Can you please share your timeline for Federal stage of PR.

Hey MaBoy,

How are you ?

I remember you because we sent the file to federal process almost in the same time.

My file arrived there on May 26 and I received the AOR on September 29 (is the same message that you got :) ).

I´m still waiting the Medicals as well, but there is no estimate time to it because each process can vary the time...But I hope to receive it very soon!

The best lucky for you too
