Hi guys,
Finally I got MR.
I don't live in same country with my non-Accompanying kid but they requested her medicals as well. Can we both do it in our separate countries and submit individually or we need to submit from same country and at the same time?
Silly question but I need your input on this.

Cheers
Congratulations. Better ask CIC about submitting medicals.

AOR maybe is getting faster, I know someone who got it today and his applications arrived to CIC on August 2nd, 119 calendar days and 84 working days.

Hi Guys,

I just received my AOR. My advise if you are in Canada better apply in land as process is much quicker.

Below is my application timeline:

VO: Hong Kong
Opening file: June 2012
CSQ: 10 Nov 2015
Sent Federal: 28 July 2016
Federal received: 4th Aug 2016
Payment by credit card: 25t Oct 2016
AOR: 29th Nov 2016.

I hope to get medical and clearance to get the PPR before end of next year.

Regards
Al

Hi Stylove,

i am not sure if this info can help but I got the info that if I relocate to my country before receiving the Med Req I should inform the Visa Office once and request that they issue passport submission instructions based on your updated country of residence.
In your case, there will be no visa for the child, so I think there would be no problem to make the medical separately.

The medical forms are numbered, and you will need to send the IMM1017E that has your/ Child information.

I hope it could help

Hiiii Guys .....

Want clarification .....How does the AOR number starts ?
Is it EP****** and URI is a number ?

Actually i got email from ICCRC and in that they mentioned the URI num and Application No .
Subject contains Information about the EP*****
Body metniones :- This confirms the application of permanent residence in Canada has been received by CIC....

Do we refer this as AOR ? Is this the AOR

Hi Mgazi,
I know we both use the same lawyer. I am not sure but it seems that files represented by their owners are proccessed faster than those with lawyers.

I cannot confirm the same as I know there is no priority given to file. they are been processes as per their order of receiving.
However, we are still in the frame time of CIC processing, thus no worries.
You will see the good news are on their way :)
