Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Hello Mates!

Planning to make my Masters in Quebec just wondering is it better to apply from inside or outside canada?

Just wondering on few questions if you could clarify:
- If I will graduate from University in Quebec with Masters, will it make me exempt from quota for applications CSQ? (null in French)
- The period I will live during my studies - will it be counted as previous stay in calculation of points?

Hi Rasul,

Definitely you should go for inland application. As currently, few of my friends got their CSQ within 3.5 months from the date they applied. On top of this, You can even apply for CSQ after completing half of your studies (Masters). So when you are in your final Term, go and apply for CSQ. This way you will get your CSQ by the time you done your Masters.

I don't live in same country with my non-Accompanying kid but they requested her medicals as well. Can we both do it in our separate countries and submit individually or we need to submit from same country and at the same time?
Silly question but I need your input on this.

Hi Guys,

I just received my AOR. My advise if you are in Canada better apply in land as process is much quicker.

Below is my application timeline:

VO: Hong Kong
Opening file: June 2012
CSQ: 10 Nov 2015
Sent Federal: 28 July 2016
Federal received: 4th Aug 2016
Payment by credit card: 25t Oct 2016
AOR: 29th Nov 2016.

I hope to get medical and clearance to get the PPR before end of next year.

yes , sure you can do it....just print the letter that came to her and she can present it to panel physician
