I have heard of any late 2015 applicant receiving a CoPR lately. It looks like the quota for 2016 has been maxed out.

Hi Hoback and MR 21,
One of my friends, whose application was submitted in August 2015, received PPR yesterday. She has been mad during the last 2 months.
So, nearly 15 months for her.

Hope we can receive the PPR before Dec 1.

Me, mad as well!!!
I am gonna call them tomorrow again. I will share my conversation if they take my call.
Thanks a lot for sharing your friend's info.

4.sent me correspondence on April, 2016

(taking 16 months) date today: Dec.3.2016

I am inland applicant and have applied in October 2015, I have called CIC twice at the same day. First guys killed me by saying if you did not hear from us by April 2017 call again. Second guy said to me I am not sure why they are waiting to take the decision but you should hear within month . All I have to do now just waiting :(

I have read from other forum 2yrs ago that if ever the qouta is reached for that current year, in our case 2016, they will just consider us under the 2017 new qouta, even if year 2016 is not yet over. I do not know however if this will still apply to us.

Hello, kevindi888, after having the AOR, you were requested to provide additional information? Have you contact CIC or your VO since it's already over 12months?

Hi charlottemontreal,
I'm an inland applicant QSW from Montreal, here my timeline...

App sent: Apr 28 2016 to Sidney NS
App receiv: May 02 2016
AOR: July 28 2016
Med req: Sept 22 2016
Med done: Sept 29 2016
Med received: Oct 3 2016

I know, it's a stupid question, but for inland applicants the next step after Sidney is Ottawa?
Thanks!!!

hello awesome guys,

I received my gcms notes yesterday.

In the end its written "Appears RFV" since July 2016, does anyone know what that means?

Thanks

Hello Everyone,
I was able to connect with CIC over the phone after several tries today. Here is the summary:

He accessed my file after verifying me and said that everything is okay. Its just a matter of time, the processing office will grab the file asap and send the PPR as I don't have any flag in my file. He gave me the best guess that the PPR could be in late December'16! I also asked him about the police clearance certificate as its already older than 12 months. He replied, again it depends on the processing office, coz its not my fault, rather it's a processing delay by CIC. So, the officer might not ask for a new one. But it would a smart move if I collect a new one so that if CIC ask for a new PCC and then I can send them right away.

So, the bottom line is: I might need to wait up-to late December'16 (I am a November'15 inland applicant) and it would be the best decision if I collect a new police clearance certificate so that I can send it right away if they ask for a new one.

That's all guys.

Thanks.
