I'm in the same boat as you and I know some people who got their MR done in December got their PPR so we should be getting ours soon.

But again, you never know what they are doing..

Dear IRK 2 Quebec,

Once you get passport request i you will be given instructions through mail on how to send and all. You need to approach your nearest VFS office and you need to pay visa fee (580 rupees) and then they only send your passport. Either you need to collect your passport after stamping from VFS or your own address (for your own address you need to pay again 351 rupees). Hope this information helps you.

actually,i called quebec immigration office and they informed me that they have sent my CSQ since 2 months but i haven't receive it till now.
what shall i do? do i have to wait it or can i apply for the federal stage without it?

Hello Accmario,

In case of countries like mine, before sending CSQ, Quebec sends you an Email telling you that you can either send them a prepaid Fedex/DHL envelope whithin two weeks of CSQ issue, so they send you the CSQ that way, or you can do nothing and they would send it through the Post Office. I think that depends on the country. Could it be that you did not receive such E-Mail and they posted it via Post Office?

In my country National Post is a total mess!!!! So the Prepaid envelope via Fedex/DHL is a must.

I would definitely contact Quebec....

Finally long awaited time is over, as I received my passport with visa stamping on 7th April 2016.
The only suggestion I would like to give you all is have patience.... All the very luck .
My timeline is

V O = New Delhi.
CSQ = 27th August 2015.
Filed = 4th November 2015.
AOR = 6th February 2016.
RPRF = Same day AOR and RPRF February 2016.
Medical Request = 4th March 2016.
Medical Done 15th March 2016.
Medical Received by CIC = 17th March 2016.
PPR = 4th April 2016.
Visa issued = 7th April 2016.

Can we send the cic application without the CSQ,stating the date of apply.As i have got the letter from MIDI stating 'waiting for decision".

You have to wait for the CSQ to apply for CIC. It is one of the requirements.
