Hi All,

I wanted to know if anyone's process was going or went the same way mine did? We received our CSQ and have since submitted our Federal Application. We were received our PPR and medical request the same time:

Federal Application for Permanent Residency sent: August 14, 2015
Application for permanent residence received: August 18, 2015.
Correspondence acknow. receipt of application from Syndey, Nova Scotia: November 6, 2015.
CIC Started processing application: November 26, 2015.
Correspondence acknow. receipt of application from Trinidad and Tobago: December 1, 2015.
Medical request received from TT: January 27, 2016
Passport and photo request (along with police certificate etc.) from TT: January 28, 2016
Medicals done: January 30, 2016
ECAS status updated to Medicals Received: February 15, 2016
Passport copy and photos etc. sent (we had to wait for the police certificate): March 4, 2016

Our letter says that if you are from a visa exempt country you do not need to send the passport just a copy of the biodata page. But then I saw today that online somewhere it says to send a copy of every page, but I already sent ours off this morning before I read that. Anyone at a similar stage from a visa exempt country? What did you send?

Are U kidding us?
U are depressed for receiving it earlier?

I said that I was impressed because I was expecting to receive it later, towards the end of march.

Anyone else received medical and passport request at the same time? And if so how long before you heard anything or saw any status changes on ECAS?

I don't think MR and PPR will arrive on the same time. Because you will only receive PPR after your medical, security etc. are all cleared.

It depends but it usually takes up to 2 months from AOR

Hallo! I am in the same situation, waiting for medicals from VO Wien. UCI (AOR) from 4.01.16. Did you received your medicals from Wien?
Thanks!

So I have a minor concern. AOR was received today for our application, and I'm reading that it takes 15 weeks or so to get USA PCC from FBI. My spouse moved to Canada a few months before turning 18 and has only lived in Canada since... therefore she should be exempt from being asked for PCC (and we included a letter explaining why she didn't submit any with her application), but in case they DO request it anyway, we'll soon send in a request for PCC to the FBI. My question is... with the AOR received yesterday... how likely is it that she would be asked to provide PCC soon with a deadline before 15 weeks from now? Thanks in advance to anyone who knows... just trying to avoid any potential future needless anxiety :D

Hey All,

Today I received an email asking me to re-submit an updated and signed IMM5669 form
I did so and emailed it back
anyone sharing the same experience? Does it sound troublesome?

Hi Sarir11,

When I received my PPR, I was also asked to submit updated IMM5669 and IMM5406. In our case for the IMM5669 Schedule A Background, it was because they wanted us to go back further than 10 years for the personal history and addresses. Since both my husband and I are over 28, we gave the last 10 years as the form clearly states,

"Provide the detials of your personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent."

In our case it did. Literally. MR arrived via email on January 27, 2016 and PPR arrived via email on January 28, 2016.

Thanks for the reply. I did mention all the info since as long ago as I remembered! I hope they do not need further corrections. I sent it by email. Indeed I printed the pages and signed and scanned it again.
By the way congrats on the PPR.

In our case, my husband spent some time in the Netherlands studying and his request for the PCC came with the PRR (Netherlands is one of the countries where you have to wait for the request to come from CIC because they need the letter from CIC as part of the application). That was about 2 months after they had said they started processing but almost 3 months after the AOR. (I'm new to this forum but I'm assuming AOR is Acknowledgement of Receipt?)

Hi Everybody,

I have received my passport with the visa stamped.

Is it a mandate that I have to land in Montreal, Quebec as I've applied with CSQ?

Hi jacobtiju, Congrats on your Visa :) I'd just like to know how you received your visa back from the Canadian High Commission was it via courier or registered post and also how many months did they give you within which to enter Canada? .. Regards
