The link that shows the time for the federal part it's not special for each country. It's about 16 months now , but it shows the time it took to approve or refuse 80 percent of applications during some time in the past.

Here is the link for the VO Paris:

Good luck

PS: I think that applicants with the same VO (paris) can give an answer to your questions

thanks.

Yes, I will feel 100 times happier after landing!!!
It has been a very long way from CSQ application up to here, almost three years now; I really don't know how I managed to survive all this time.
By the way, for your landing, did you have to cross the US border and then come back to Canada?
I heard some people just do the landing without going to US border. Is it possible at Lacolle?
Hi Memg,
You can't go to Lacolle and return to Canadian immigration border for landing WITHOUT CROSSING TO US and get a paper to show it to Canadian side while re-entering... it is called "admin rejection" it has no negative impact on your name for your future visit to US.

it took me 20 minutes to finish from US immigration and get the paper and another 20 minutes to complete the landing ... very smooth and easy ,,
Let me know if you need more info and assistance..

Catergory: Quebec Skilled Worker
CSQ received in August 2015
Federal stage application sent from Montreal on August 10, 2015 and was received by CIC syndey office on August 13, 2015.
Application paid online with receipt sent with application
Application sent back to us on November 3rd due to missing signature
Application re-sent to Sydney on November 4th from Montreal with added signature (unfortunately the study permit that gave us valid status in Canada at the time of the first application expired in September, and we forgot to swap it out with the PGWP that replaced it - fingers crossed that we don't get the application sent back AGAIN due to that)
Application received in Sydney on November 6th
AOR received March 3rd

So we received AOR this morning. Much relief! Now waiting for medical request.

Just want to thank all users on this forum for the constant stream of useful information and moral support.

Hi Everybody,

I have received my passport with the visa stamped.

Is it a mandate that I have to land in Montreal, Quebec as I've applied with CSQ?

Guys... a day after I got PPR, my ECAS has been updated to Decision Made.

I guess this is it. CIC already received my passports. I think they return them in like 14 days? I can't remember what Luc and everybody else were saying.

please send me the link

Thank you very much Luc, for your reply. It is good to know admin rejection won't be a problem for my future visit to US as my brother lives there and I intend to visit him next year.

Would you be so kind to advise on the following:

- Did they ask for proof of funds?
- Did you send photos to Ottawa together with your passports? As you know Ottawa is not requesting photos from us to be sent together with passports and I wonder if it was also your case. I am worried whether they are going to ask us for photos when landing or not.
- What time is the more convenient to do the landing?

Thanks a lot Luc

Hi Luc22,

Firstly, let me congratulate you on your landing! A long journey has come to an end :)

I was wondering if you could share your experience of your PR landing at the US border? I do not have a US tourist visa at the moment however I am glad to hear that the admin rejection is no issue for future visa applications.

Also, did you drive or take the bus to the border? I am quite anxious as I need to do my landing soon - any advice would be much appreciated!

Hello Everyone:
I'm a Canadian citizen. We (me and my wife, an international student) currently live in BC, but I'm thinking to mention Montreal as a possible destination on her in-land sponsorship application. I understand that we will have to obtain a CSQ in the process. To this end, I'll appreciate if any of you can address the following questions. Thanks in advance Smiley
1. How long it might take to get a CSQ from Quebec Immigration?
2. Can she (or us?) claim Quebec residency once she gets CSQ? How about medicare?
3. What are the possible benefits of landing in Quebec e.g., studies/scholarships?
4. Is it allowed to land in another province, in case we change our mind later on?
