Hello everyone,

I did my medical exam on Feb 2 but I was just informed that the doctor's office sent the result last Friday.

I got the notice on Jan 30 and it was mentioned that if my exam is not done within 30 days of the notice my application will be refused.

I still haven't gotten any notice from the government whether they received it or not.

Would this be a problem? Or they are just in the process and since my result was submitted within 30days it's okay?

Don't worry. In my case it took 3 weeks to have my timeline updated with medical received from the result was sent to them, but sometimes it could take longer than that.
I think that if the clinic confirmed to you that they sent the result last Friday, you can be sure that they did so.
Anyway, you will always be able to probe that you did the medical exam and the clinic sent the result to them, within the 30 days required period.

Seems there comes good news for all who intend to apply for citizenship in Canada
The new immigration rules will bring mandatory time of stay for citizenship back to 3 years
There are also negotiations underway to give studets back their 50% credit which means mainly one year bonus for citizenship!!

When ECAS is updated "medical received" it means they are OK and moving to next phase of the process.

Had the exact same thing happen to us here (same mistake on the same form even...) don't worry about it, you can send back the same receipt as it's your proof of purchase. This happened to us months ago and we never got the refund. Just send the same receipt you originally got.

By the way if you don't mind me asking, did you send your application from Montreal? We re-sent our corrected one on November 4th so that would give us an idea of when to expect AOR or it to be sent back again if we made another mistake...

they recieved the file on 1 st of november you can ask about ur file by sending them mail
