hi everyone applied for federal on oct 23. i did not pay the payment along with application rather gave credit card details. its almost near to 4 months now. Just wondering how long does the pay deduction and file number takes. Is 4 month quite usual or my file is late or does it imply any problem with my file?.

From the Information I gathered, Application sent within Canada is much slower than those sent from outside Canada, The Fastest I known was merely took 6 months to get his PR in the federal stage! His visa office was in HK.

It's confusing, Applications sent from Montreal seems much slower than those sent from elsewhere, in some cases, it tooks 5 months just to get the File Number compared to 2-3 months in elsewhere.
