Hi Jacques, same situ here.
My first submission was returned due to one missing signature... I resubmitted right after.

I got two questions:
1. how long did it take to get the refund of the first submission?
2. when you got the AOR, you got it by e-mail or mail?

Thanks!!
1, They won't charge you if your app got returned. If you paid online using your credit card, just resubmit that receipt. If you are using payment form, resubmit it as well.
2, I waited 4 months to get AOR and it came by e-mail.

Thx Jacques,

I paid by credit card. And in the letter came with the returned submission, it says "you are being refunded.". That's why i paid again when i resubmitted the application just to make sure that the fees could be paid with the resubmission.
And I called CIC number, told them the situation and asked them if i need to do something about the refund...they say that it takes 6-8 weeks for the refund, and it's automatic...
But it's been 9 weeks, and I received nothing from them..

If I have a CSQ, can I apply for a visitor visa to see cities (a part of preparation of where to live / reviewing costs of living , ect.)?

Last time, my visitor visa was rejected a long time ago. Will the CSQ allow me to get a visitor visa?

If you have csq then no need to send ielts card. If you are applying for Quebec (fresh application) then send it original.

Since you live in Australia, it should be the local Canadian Visa office in Australia

Hello all,

Just have this dilemma. I am very interested to visit Canada before receiving Permanent Residence.

However, is it possible that visiting Canada on a Temporary Resident Visa before obtaining Permanent Residence Visa negatively affects Permanent Residence application? could it negatively affect the decision?

Also read on some other post that if you do this (entering Canada on a Temporary Resident Visa before obtaining Permanent Residence) you must notify the Visa Office whithin 6 months of the visit. Do anyone know how you inform VO that you visited Canada? Do you send them a letter via Regular Mail? E-Mail? Which details should we include?

Thanks in advance for your help. It would be extremely useful for me to visit Canada before settling there, but have these doubts.

Any input will be much appreciated.
