Hi everyone, I have a question. I have applied to PR and I wrote my status is waiting post graduation work permit as I was waiting for it at that time, nowadays I waiting for getting file number and I got the work permit, my question is should I told them about my new status or I have to wait the file number first and then change the status, please advice
Thanks

Hi Mariam !

Right now, you do not have any unique identification that will allow Sydney office to match any document you send to your PR file UNTIL your file has been uploaded to their computer. They are simply not going to try to match your PGWP "UCI Number" to hundreds of physical complete packages they have received by post and continue to receive by the dozen every day :D

As long as you attached confirmation with your PR application package that you have applied for PGWP, it is sufficient since PGWP is a sure shot thing for Quebec graduates. They can also verify at that time by entering your UCI number in their system to see the status of the work permit.

When you get your fie number, it means your application has been uploaded into their system. (that is why you can see the status on ECAS). They can then easily locate and update your file.

However it is not advised by the VO that you send them any document unless requested. When you will get your AOR, you will notice this line written in it; "Please do not forward additional documents unless requested" . Though sending documents at that time shouldn't harm your case and chances are that they will attach it to your application.

Moreover when you get your medical request or RPRF request, you will get the *code** of he officer who is dealing you case. Sending additional document with that code increases the chances of getting your documents uploaded quickly. Mail both the physical copy and email the scanned document referring that officer by her/his code number.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck !

Hello,

Could you please clarify what does the priority processing based on the AOT means? Actually I have bachelor degree in computer science and I also sent TEF results along with my application (reading A2, listening B2, writing B2, and speaking B2). Does it mean that the file will be processed faster? Thanks in advance.

Yes, it means that your file will be processed faster, than others. If your AOT gives you 16 points (I am not sure about 12 points) according to the table of AOT, that means you can get CSQ faster. TEF might also help and they will not ask you to come for the interview with an immigration officer.

My time lines are similar to the one's of yours & the Visa office that will handle my file is NewDelhi India , my friend is waiting since aug for medicals , not heard anything about it yet , it depends on the VO processing the case . Anyways good luck to all.

Yep, it all depends on the VO, as I see. It is written on their website that it takes 11 months for Kyiv, but in practice we receive ME much slower than those, whose VO needs 20-30 months to process the federal application according to the CIC website.
Nothing else to do - just waiting ::) Thank you very much and good to you all, too :)

Hi,

Next month i am planning to relocate back to my home country (India).
I received AOR last week.
when i suppose to change the address in CIC and how?
if i change the address, my visa office is going to change, eventually my processing time is going to affect?

please reply for the above issues asap.

Thanks

"2-numéro de dossier" on the top right of the CSQ
