BTW i received the following update on my e-CAS:

We received your application for permanent residence on April 13, 2015.
We started processing your application on July 24, 2015.
We sent you correspondence on August 17, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

In the correspondence they requested for an updated CV for me and my wife and for the Military exemption Certificate, dont know what would that mean??!! is it a positive sign??

I think it is a positive sign. I had 3 lines from ecas same like yours but without additional documents and today i received MR.

Hey Canada.dream .. I think this is a positive sign that they are working on your application .. just don't forget to send them ASAP the requested papers so they can move on and request from you your medicals!

It seems that things are moving faster for applicants residing outside Canada,, AOR received on June 26th 2015 and still waiting for MR (1 month + 3 weeks as of today), QSW inland application, VO Ottawa.

Simple, by reading the posts on this thread,, applicants got MR in 4 weeks and as of today i did not hear anything since my AOR on June 26th

OK, I see. You mean after receiving the AOR. Of course it will be different, because they are being processed in different VOs, and the VOs with less processing time will be faster naturally.
