Thank you. I will have to move fast most likely will get all the docuements ready before reaching india late this year, and go ahead with the other things like police clearance etc..thx
Dear swamik

I doesn't take too long in India to get the police clearance certificate however you need to visit personally twice or sometimes even three times to get the same. But the main thing you need to do at the earliest is to gather all your documents and submit to the CIC intake office Sydney ASAP.

All the very best for the future.

The average processing time for the application is 13 months from the date of Receipt of the application.

Dear all,

I got PPR yesterday night. I'm inland applicant, VO is Ottawa. My timeline is

APP: 2016-04-20
AOR: 2016-06-10
MER: 2016-09-02
RPRF: 2016-10-03
DM: 2017-04-12
PPR: 2017-04-13

Some tips that may faster your application (personal observation, not officially true):

1 Pay the processing fee online

I think most people who has similar timeline with me paid their fee online and got their AOR in around 4 weeks (the time between APP and AOR may vary, 4 weeks only apply to the period when I sent my application), but I stupidly paid the processing fee by paper authorizing, and got AOR in 7 weeks.

2 Pay RPRF upfront

As I observed, most people in this forum paid their RPRF upfront and got PPR in 11 months. However people paid RPRF when requested got PPR in 12 months, e.g. raja, roadtonowhere and me.

Another thought that may help you estimate your processing time (personal opinion) :

I think most inland applicants got their CSQ based on PEQ and are holding work permit even a job offer, CIC may put those people in priority. But for me, I got my CSQ under regular skill worker program and just holding a study permit without job offer, so my PPR comes later than others.

CIC may send a certain amount of DM and PPR every month, if PPR did not come this month, it must be coming next month.

Thank goodness, thank everything. Good luck for every applicant.

HI
I live and work in montreal as Foreign Worker. I have filed my PR application with CIC.
Question:
I "linked" my application to another email address that I frequently use. Since then when I go online to check the status of my application it does not show the updates that happened prior to the date I linked my application to this email. Instead it says Application was submitted on the date. Whereas the application was submitted 4 months before that and I had correspondence with CIC both email and Mail. no record of that. Any Idea?

This is the expected result. Linking the application will give you an update on its current status however no references to prior communication because they were not done through it. The same would apply to any future communications unless they are done through GCKey.

There is nothing to worry about here. Just treat it as a tool to get a more detailed status in comparison with ECAS.
