I got an email two days ago from rome visa office requesting me to pay RPRF and to send the passports bur not any change on ecas or gckey...is it normal?
Please can anyone tell me when they will send back my passport? Timeframe please

i applied immigration on 2016.Feb. 18 , AOR on April 5, the ecas status today shows decision made, but my cic account still shows in process, hope i'll get ppr email soon !

I read about your timeline... and I am sailing in the same boat.
I already received the CSQ last year in June 2016. It took me a longer time to send the documents to Nova Scotia.
I sent the docs In October 2016 and it reached on 17 Oct 2016. Since then till now I have not yet received any email from there.
After reading your time line I see that it took around 4 months for you to get a reply from Federal.
Is this correct.

As of today you are at 81 working days so it is still OK. In theory you should get an AOR before the 22nd of February.

I am here to give some answers from my experiences.

When my eCas was changed to Decision Made, after 1 day, I got email for passport request.
GCkey will not be changed until your passport is being sent back to you.
When you see GCkey has been changed to closed, it means your return envelope will be activated soon. (It took me one day to see my return envelope activated)

It took me 11 days to get my passport back from Ottawa.(Count from the day I sent my passport)

Time varies depending on different cases. If you call CIC, they will not be able to tell you anything. (At least I called 2 times, I got nothing).


About Canada Post, if you see your package sent to Ottawa being "out for delivery" forever, It means delivered. This was what happened to me.

Hope everyone gets their papaer soon.
