Nothing changed after landing except a new SIN#. ;Dsaadicanada said:Hi Vanco,
Hope you are enjoying time now being a permanent resident in canada. I have a small question for you: what was written in your GCMS notes when u applied for It ? Is it possible for you to copy paste the text of the email for others to take help in understanding it. Do you think I should apply for my GCMS notes ? Coz we both share quite similar timelines and I haven't heard from IRCC since my medical.
I know but applied before me, and finished within a year(normal processing time)MWQ said:I'm in Jeddah and I did applied with representation? (Thought it might help).Do you know anyone else applied from Saudi Arabia?
Sure.Egyptian bird said:I know but applied before me, and finished within a year(normal processing time)
Anyway, we should keep in touch and inform each other if anything comes up.
First congratulations. And hope your dreams come true.vanco said:Nothing changed after landing except a new SIN#. ;D
I will suggest applying the GCMS. This is your legal right.
And the GCMS is actually a complete case file of your application, including VO notes, file transfer histories, assessments of eligibility/criminal/medical, etc.
Just go and order one. Good luck!
As far i know they check all country where you have visited if you did any criminal activity or not.michel_hammamet said:Gosh. I visited more than 50 countries,. I am terrified. This should be in OUR FAVOR not AGAINST us. Why should traveling slow down the processing? Really pissed off and confused. No logic at all.
Yes, you can ask your lawyer to order the notes (or someone else who has PR/citizenship/physically in Canada).MWQ said:First congratulations. And hope your dreams come true.
Secondly I am applying from outside Canada but my lawyer is situated in Canada. Now can I ask for the GCMS and when should I do that. (I applied in July 2015 received my AOR in September but nothing after that. I’m literally terrified from this silence).
