I'm sorry for this newbie question, but... would you please let me know how can I find out who's my borough's MP so I can contact this person?Hi guys,
Is there anyone who contacted MP of their borough regarding PR?
I am an August 2019 applicant and I wrote an e-mail to MP to track my application status.
Here is what I received:
The initial assessment to ensure your constituent's application is complete, is still in process.
First, I felt relieved as I misunderstood that the initial assessment of my application was complete meaning IRCC won't return my application.
However, after reading the sentence multiple times, I was in despair as it means IRCC didn't even open my file until now which has passed over 1 year from the delivery date of my application and there is still a possibility that IRCC might return my application.
I wonder if there is anyone who submitted PR application under QSW and entered the Express Entry pool at the same time.
I hope the hearsay about agents back to work in September is true and I hope we all get good news from IRCC, AOR at least.
Fingers crossed for all of us.
Where do you live?I'm sorry for this newbie question, but... would you please let me know how can I find out who's my borough's MP so I can contact this person?
Thank you and good luck!
@ballak1984 .. @Df.Set is a troll. Though Mr. Kapadiya ( his real name) is not as active as before, still he has some troll juice left in him. His previous troll account was D-Pen or something.I do hope ur french is much better than ur english..... Am really not sure wat ur trying to get at with the ps note lol.... We all has the right to get our files processed, inland and outland applicants... A huge dislike to ur post..
Can we simplify this a bit. It's like the IRCC will take his post in consideration
He is right about something - the inland candidate cost 0 to Quebec, but for the outland ones the government will pay a huge amount of money for integration. Guess who is paying for this - tax payer, which are here and contribute to the system. So, when you come here with your perfect french it wouldn't be enough, so you have to go to school - again. After that you have to pass par local College or University because you don't have Canadian experience and after that you will be able to work probably. So minimum 1 to 3 years Quebec will take care of you and your family. The inland candidates already payed from their pocket for all this and took the risk of being here. A huge difference which you are going to realize when they cut min 30% of your salary. So, like it or not that is the reality! The immigration is not a walk in the park and you have ahead of you a lot to deal with!
Dreams are free, goals have a cost. Paying taxes does not make him any superior to us. As the system was also taking care of him when he first landed into Canada.... I am alright with the hustle, however his words were really offensive. It's like the IRCC will take his post in consideration

I thought this part was clear. The issue is obviously not from the federal side since the feds continue to process applications for other provinces as well as federal immigration programs in the designated time frame. Can we simplify this a bit.
Why is no one thinking that there is an anti immigrant CAQ govt. which has a sneaky immigration dept which was held previously by Mr. Boy Wonder Simon and now given to a minority woman to pacify the lack of diversity in Quebec politics and #BLM ? Since immigration dept is now held by a black miniroty leader, Quebec somehow becomes immigrant friendly ?
Why is no one thinking that CAQ govt. might have modified the Canada Quebec accord and is going to come up with another anti immigrant thing (like the silly Values Test) to appease CAQs voter base ?
Anyone?Hey everyone. I just got the message that our medical was passed. However, security hasn't still started. Is this normal? Does security usually automatically become "in process" after medical passed or does it stay not started and suddenly changes to passed?
Not sure to have the answer, but security seems to be the last step before DM.Anyone?
