Sent it to Sydney. In the end, Ottwa.Congrats. Whch VO processed your application?
Unfortunately it is true in most cases. However, in some cases I have noticed faster processing. Also, it differs from one VO to another.Hello guys,
I have received the CSQ in Nov 2018 and just sorted out the PR files and personal docs required (Photos, marriage certificate, birth certificates, police certificates, etc...). I have posted the PR copies and everything to my agent in Canada who just sent them to IRRC today itself. I asked them for any expected processing time and I got shocked, They were saying it would take 15-17 months to get the PR, assuming there are no delays, and it would take 3-5 months to get the AOR! Then medicals are requested, then biometrics are requested, and at last passports. Is this true?
Thank you and good luck for all.
Well, 15-17 months are too long! I have been surfing this forum and got to know that some have even received the AOR after 24 hours of sending in the PR application to IRRC!Unfortunately it is true in most cases. Currently processing time is 19 months for the federal part of QSW applications. I haven't heard anyone getting AOR within 24 hours of applying except online Express Entry applicants.Well, 15-17 months are too long! I believe VO is the Visa Office, right? how would you get to know what VO are we?
Hi,My friend had his medical in March 2018 and got PPR in December 2018
but I didn't ask him of his AOR though. I think he got his AOR earlier, mine was March 2018 and medical in July 2018.
Dear INDIA2674 , What do you mean by IP2?The current waiting period seems to be the longest. Files are not moving ahead. I am in the IP2 phase since over 3 months now and there is no progress. The process seems to have just stopped completely for CSQ applicants across various stages. However there is a bright chance of seeing a lot of movement in this month. Lets hope for the best!

A friend of mine has got the CSQ in Jan 2018 and was asked for the the passports in Aug the same year. The current waiting period seems to be the longest. Files are not moving ahead.
