All the correspondences were from Sydney N.S , only the last passport request was from Ottawa..
Well I don't think so that updates /requests are sent only on Tuesdays,, i received updates on different days during the processing of my application.

We sent our application back on November 4th (after having sent it in early august and having it sent back to us due to a missing signature).

Speaking of waiting for AOR, I just realized one thing.

She initially applied in August under temporary student status that expired in September of last year... we sent a copy of her student permit then. Since then she received a post graduate work permit.

We sent back her application in November... which means her student permit had expired, and we forgot to switch it out for a copy of her work permit.

Could this be a huge issue for us?

Yeah , it was missing a hand signature on the intent to reside in QC form. We had printed it out with the name written directly on the form...

Now we're worried it's going to happen again because it still includes her now expired study permit. We do have a post grad work permit for her so she still has valid status, but we stupidly forgot to include it in the re-sent application

We got it after sending the application initially, but before we resent it with the added signature.


On top of that, we resent the same application so it looks like we may have sent outdated forms? That could also be another problem for us that would lead to them sending it back, right?

Ugh, this is so stressful, pretty much on the verge of a nervous breakdown here

From my point of view, it will not make a problem as you sent the initial application which show that you have not got the PGWP, also they understand that you will or you will get the post graduation work permit after finishing studies and you can update your status after you get your file number
so do not worry it is not a big problem for them
you can ask your university at the international office who help student for their applications and good luck
