Hello Everyone,

Firstly ,In the field Numéro d’identification auprès de Citoyenneté et Immigration Canada, enter your identification number with Citizenship and Immigration Canada, if you have one. This identification number may have been assigned to you when you
applied for immigration to Canada.

Just wanted to confirm , Is it the UCI # mentioned in your Immigration application ?

Secondly,When you fill the form Demandes antérieures (Previous applications), you come across the field below

Avez-vous déjà présenté une demande d’immigration permanente au Canada (ailleurs qu’au Québec)? (Have you ever submitted an application for permanent residence in Canada, elsewhere than Québec?)

Do you need to say Yes for both Primary Applicant and spouse or it is only applicable for the primary applicant?

Regards
Inderpsi

Hi Dan Martin,

Information on the website only tells this. Hope you can help me with this one.

Thank you in advance.

Recognized experience
The work experience by a skilled worker candidate must have been acquired:
in the five years preceding the date of submission of an application for a selection certificate
in an occupation with a skill level above “D” as defined by the National Occupational Classification (NOC)
legally in the country concerned.

The following experience, which respects the aforementioned conditions, is recognized:

Experience that was acquired full time or part time in remunerated jobs
*full-time or part-time work internships as part of an apprenticeship, training or specialization recognized by a diploma, both remunerated and non-remunerated.
*Inadmissibility of skill level “D” occupations

Work experience acquired in skill level “D” occupations
as defined by the National Occupational Classification (NOC) is not admissible. Skill level “D” occupations are those that usually require a brief demonstration of the work to be performed, or on-the-job training or that do not have any particular educational requirements.

Intership
This constitutes experience acquired:

*full time or part time
*as part of remunerated internships (for non-remunerated internships recognized by a diploma, experience must be acquired during an apprenticeship, training or specialization)
*in the five years preceding the date of submission of the application for a selection certificate.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share that we had received an "Intent to Reject Letter" from MIDI.
More of, they're just asking us to update the residence permits:

1.) Principal Applicant's Residence Permit: iqama (w/ English translations).
2.) Spouse's Residence Permit: Alien Residence Card (ARC) as the spouse was based from Taipei, Taiwan (w/ English translations).

However, the Principal Applicant (my wife) would end her employment contract this coming October 2016.
She'll be returning to Philippines and would try to look for another job opportunity (may be UK, Ireland or any EU State).

We haven't consulted yet to the Law Firm (Campbell Cohen) that we acquired regarding this matter.
But we already discussed this possibilities to them before receiving this letter from MIDI and advised us to wait for the update from MIDI first.

Any idea guys? May be somebody in this forum have the same situation?
Someone suggested to attach an explanation letter when sending the residence permit to MIDI.
Stating that "Residence Permits (iqama) from Middle East would only be renewed a month before the said expiration date".

However, my wife would not renew her employment contract anymore.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions and opinions.
