QUEBEC SKILLED WORKER APPLICANTS FROM PHILIPPINES... LET'S SHARE EXPERIENCES..

Hi I am new in this forum, and i would like to ask for your advice and opinion. I plan to submit my application for QSW this January, do you have any idea if they have reached the 20,000 applicants?or if not how many slots more is available. Another thing, I am a nurse with only 1 year and 5 months experience, and not currently practicing this profession since i am more inclined in practicing my Public Health studies working in an NGO with health related project. Do you think they will consider this experience, how would this affect my application? Based from my assessment points I got 53 because of the additional points in my education having finished my Masteral. I hope you can answer my queries. Thank you very much!

I got both email and mail by post. Yung nasa email, naka quote ang ref individuelle. Tapos yung nasa post naman (which is merely a receipt of the payment I made through credit card) nakalagay yung numero de dossier and they are completely different. I might be wrong but i think once you have both, yan na ang AOR. But it's already a good news as long as may natanggap ka na from Quebec. Let's just hope na we will receive more good news in the next few months...schedule for interview perhaps or sana waiver

Anong credit card po ginamit nyo? Have u heard of any possible problem when using a credit card for d mode of payment? Thanks

yep..nagreply po sila agad and inopen agad nila yung file..may individual reference number sila ibinigay..yun nga lang may pinapasubmit na lacking docs pa..sinubmit ko na din, waiting ng reply pa nila ulit.

Alam ko na! Ipatranslate mo yung document sa institution na nagrelease ng document. So patranslate mo nalang sa registrar niyo. Kailangan mong makiusap niyan. Magpadulas ka nalang ng isang meal.

Hi guys... November 2012 pa ako nag apply.. AOR received april 2013. Until now wala pa interview date. I wonder when will be the next interview here in the Philippines. Any updates?

the number of applicants they received are posted on the quebec website..as of nov 2013, i think almost five thousand have already filed..with regards to your concern being a nurse working outside the clinical area, i guess it was not mentioned NURSING as an area of training to be limited to certain hospital based workers only..if you have obtained your Masters degree (better if public health is your major), and you have been working related to public health or community based, then they are still related from your education..i may guess you are a public health nurse..lol..

Masteral in the Philippines for nursing only equates to 10 points instead of 12.
