Hi everyone!
Matagal tagal na din akong lurker sa page na to.
QSW applicant din ako and my docs was recieved last december 2013 by certain G. Giann. Just today, I received an email with
Réf. Individuelle number. Question lang po mga maam and sir, pwede pa ba akong magsend ng additional docs like BIR certificate saying na walang tax yung salary ko abroad dahil OFW ako?
Thanks in advance. .
Hi PJ..wow...I wonder what is that Réf. Individuelle number all about...is it Individual Reference Number?...lol..sounds interesting yan ah...what does it say?...I submitted last oct 2013..as of now I have not received any response as of the moment..
regarding ung question mo sa BIR Certificate for Tax Exemption for your work abroad, im not sure kung dito mo sa thread na ito nabasa ung discussion or idea na yan or somewhere else pa, and im afraid baka ako lng nag brought out nyang tax exemption certificate na yan or nagpauso..lol..
In the first place, stated in the form "To certify the legality of your work experience: they are asking for a
• Proof of your social security contributions or proof of exemption from payment of
social security premiums
"If you cannot provide proof of social security contributions or proof of exemption from payment of social security premiums, you must provide PROOF OF PAYMENT OF INCOME TAX."
It is clearly written there proof of payment of income tax..They didn't even mention or ask for a PROOF OF EXEMPTION FROM PAYING TAXES....lol...can you see that..
now on my part, i decided to ask the BIR for that Certificate of tax exemption..WHY O WHY!!! its basically to support my claim that I worked abroad, that may work experience there is legitimate..my work obtained abroad has no deduction from SSS or any contributions that might exist since saudi labor law has no such things as that (in such i couldn't provide SSS contribution)...i can have contributions myself and send it to sss philippines but i dont think it will reflect as contribution made by my employer..lol..thats a foolish joke...not even a deduction from saudi arabia for income tax as this country is tax free, moreover, with the philippines because the income was derived from outside the country (which is the one indicated in their certificate)..so, the result is i will have no sss or premium contributions, not even an exemption from paying those..so will i just stop form there since no documents will further certify my work exp abroad as the form implies for sss etc etc and submit only my certificate of employment? lol..ofcourse not..
bottom line is, that Certificate of Tax Exemption from the BIR basically supports my claim for my work abroad..the certificate entails the law for filipino overseas workers to be exempted from filing income taxes..together with the certificate is your photocopy of employment contract and passport..as i have said on my previous posts, FOR ME, premium contributions may not only the way to prove the legality of one's work experience..what will gonna happen to the applicants from the MIDDLE EAST..lol..so for my work experience abroad, i did submitted a detailed COE with the complete elements being asked, my employee manual/work booklet, my pay slips, as well as the tax exemption from the BIR attached therewith is my employment contract and passport copy..thats it..if quebec immigration firmly stands to have premium contributions as the ONLY docs to further certify ones exp, i hope its not the end of immigration dreams not just for me, but also for those in the same platform..lol
i have no idea kung pwede ka pa mag send ng additional docs..sa mga nababasa ko sa ibang thread, ang quebec ang nag rerequest for any additional docs that they want to obtain from the applicant..pero sa opinyon ko, pwede pa naman cguro..di ko lng alam kung pano ung process nila when they received an additional docs..i hope someone could advice you regarding this..
