I hope you dont mind me asking. How is your French now? Are you able to carry conversations with locals?

I try my best ;D... Now that I'm hearing it everyday, I'm getting used to it and even if I don't understand, I still listen. That way I am able to slowly integrate the language to myself.

^^ ask ko lang sir.. sa proof of SSS contributions niyo, did you just print out the electronic form? or did you ask them to certify it for you?

Print it out and have it certified at any SSS branch.

Hospital work may give you a better evaluation in the order of nurses. Experience is important.

My documents where returned because of the payment, they were unable to charge the fee. But they already give me a file no. On my form. What does it mean? they stated on the letter that they were unable to open it because of the lacking document (which is payment), and if i submit my documents again it will not be considered as new application. My question is, should i run after the cap?6500

You just lack the payment. Once your document is being checked, they usually assign a file number in order to avoid giving multiple file numbers to the same applicant. Once you have the AOR then your file is up for review.

I wonder why we still need to have electronic SSS contributions certified? Ala na ba tlaga sila tiwala sa authenticity of our documents? I submitted print outs of my tax contributions in SG. They still gave me an AOR which probably means they have accepted it.

I've seen how they scrutinize my documents during the interview, I think it is part of their way to check if documents are authentic. I can't blame them, its part of their job to be thorough.

Btw, I sent you a PM about Employment Cert.

^ my local sss branch wont certify the printout.. what they did was they made a certification on their own paper with SSS letterhead and signed by branch director.. it contained the length of time I have been paying my conrtibutions (from start date to present.)

You have to prove that you have done your best in order to establish in Quebec but was not successful in doing so but it is still not an assurance. Moving to other provinces was the reason why Quebec had the applicant sign the Intent for staying in Quebec. It has your signature, it might be used against you especially when you apply for citizenship.

how long would someone have to stay? I forgot that part. Was it 2 years?

You should stay in Canada in three out of 4 yrs preceeding your application. Dont you think its too early for you to be asking about citizenship? You have not even been granted PR yet. ;D ;D

excited lang haha

follow up question, is that 3 out of 4 need to be when you're granted PR or is it the moment you landed in Canada?

I'm asking these questions because I'm gauging my chances of med school and/or canadian armed forces application (as nurse officer).

Right now I'm 29. If things go as I planned, I might have to give up those two goals in lieu of Nurse Practitioner or Physician assistant instead.

You just have to wait for interview schedule. No news for Asia for 1st and 2nd quarter of 2014. Hoping for positive news this coming 3rd and 4th quarter.

ok lang pero suggestion ko, magtiis ka muna sa hospital. Nothing beats hospital experiece pagdating sa nursing. :-)

tama si conrad at si bosschips...mas maganda pa rin ang hospital setting, hindi man tayo palarin sa canada mas preferred pa rin sa ibang lugar kung sa hospital ang experience natin, pero kung may valid reason ka naman para magshift as company nurse wala namang nagsasabing hindi pwede, make sure lang that your new employer will pay your sss contribution para di maputol...pwedeng mangelam? bat ka pa aalis ng hospital e ang dami gusto magkaexperience sa hospital pero walang opportunity...isa na ko dun :)
