Can anyone tell me if the university degree in French language is enough for proving you proficiency or you have to take the IELTS or other internationally recognized test?

ya u need ILTS...otherwise they don't count yr lengauge point

Normally you can use other documents to prove your language skills and they have the right to ask you to take IELTS and/or TEF anyway to prove your points. Common sense would indicate that if you had a BA in English or French that they would accept that as proof of your skills but if you have a degree from an English or French university but this is not a degree in that language, they might not accept that as proof enough. Basically, it's up to them. You can list your documents and they will decide if the want you to test or not.

I have a BA in French language and literature - Translator and I was hoping that my degree will be enough for proving the proficency.

But, as you said it's up to them to decide, so we wait for the outcome, hopefully soon we will know.

Yes, I applied for CSQ.
We send our application 5 weeks ago in the Vienna visa section and no answer yet.
I believe your question refers to the above given information.
