The travel time from NYC to gatineau QC show 8hours. We are importing our car so we don't know exactly what border to use.I heard we can use Lewiston-queenston bridge but this route is too long almost twice the travel time. Did somedy has imported sucessfully his car in canada?

If you were able to apply for FSW from the US why don't you do the same for QSW.From the US it does not take that long. You don't need to go to your home country to apply for it since you are in the US. Cheer up and Happy NEw Year

I agree with cchabert. In order to pay the fee required you can use your credit card if you have one or your debit card, I bet you probably do. Buffalo will deduct the fee in canadian dollar. Good luck
