Nope I got my AOR after 4 months but the rest of the process barely took another 2-3 months after that.

Thanks
I hope they process mine within regular time. I intend to apply for PhD but I doubt I can attend classes before I get my PR
As long as I know they cancel the process if you apply for a CAQ!

Thanks for the reply

is it CSQ is provincial nominee?
i have to wait for the AOR to renew my workpermit?

Exceptions
When you work within one of the occupations or categories listed below, the time you work in Canada is still counted toward your four-year maximum.

It is only when you apply for a work permit that these exceptions become relevant. An officer may issue a work permit to you if you have a job offer in one of these occupations/categories, even if you have already worked in Canada for four years.

These categories or occupations are the exceptions for which a work permit can exceed the four-year limit:

NOC O and A (including spouses/dependants of these skilled temporary foreign workers)
LMIA-exempt jobs under
International agreements
Canadian interests
Self-support
Humanitarian reasons
Jobs that do not need a work permit
Permanent resident applicants who have received a positive selection decision or approval in principle
Provincial nominees applying for an employer-specific work permit

Since you are a provincial nominee, you can apply an employer specific work permit with your CSQ.

I am a temporary skilled worker in Quebec and like to apply for PEQ. I am taking a french course in CSDM William Hingston. Are these french courses valid to prove knowledge of french.

Please suggest

You must take one of the exams required by Immigration Quebec. What test/exam does your French course lead to?

Me, Moi. I also actually did my level 6 from William Hingston *hi5* and got my PEQ :D

Check this:
http://www.midi.gouv.qc.ca/publications/fr/gpi-npi/composantes_3/gpi_3_4_annexe_1.pdf

Your level 6 course code should be LAN-5072-4

Hello everybody,

My federal application timeline is as mentioned below:

Category........: QSW
App. Filed.......: 18-06-2015
AOR Received.: 05-09-2015

I am living in Montreal and my federal application was sent Sydney, Nova Scotia. I am concerned that I have not received a medical request yet.
Is there anyone who is in similar situation and/or has a similar application timeline?
And, how long does it take to get a medical request after the AOR?

I really appreciate your time and responses

Good luck

Dear all! I am so happy to have found this forum!

For this forum, I am still an infant, because I am starting a vocational course in Quebec this coming Jan aiming for PEQ. :)
I have a question.
Will my children be able to get Canadian Student fee treatment to study in a high school /a college in quebec when I have CSQ and waiting for
PR?

What I know is, while I am a full time student, my high school kid can go to a public high school without paying international student fee.
But I don't know what happens after I graduate, will she be still getting the same treatment while I work under my PGWP?
Hope you can enlighten me...

Thank you! ;)

Hi

you still have time before the max processing for AOR issuance
they say it takes up to 18 weeks before you receive the AOR
for me it was almost 17 weeks
