While initially applying for CSQ, did you provide information of your secondary and higher secondary level education other than bachelors?
Those who provided, did the Quebec authority verifies those secondary and higher secondary certificates from board?

Ok Guys, here is my update. After 4 months of AOR, I finally got my MR. Done it the next day.

My questions to you....

What is the next step? Is it Police clearance? or PR fee?

How long before this next step?

Please share your experiences.

Here is my timeline:


Application received on June 18th

AOR September 2nd

MR January 21st.


I live in Montreal, my VO is Ottawa.

Hi!! no, that refers to Police Clearance Certificate. And yes, I did pay 490 for Medicals.... whats your timeline?

## #The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with details concerning your situation.###

Tomorrow, on Monday I will be going to my lawyer to complete the process. (For this it takes two passport sized photos and an express envelope, rest is done my my lawyer and his team)
After this, do you guys have any idea when this can be finished Huh?

So I haven't received any updates on my ECAS at all. I think the officers are too busy to worry about that.

I got an email asking me to pay the fee within 30 days

Ecas takes few weeks to update as far as I know

However I suggest you wait for the email. I don't think RPRF payment in advance makes any changes in your case processing time.

Hi I applied for self employed category in May 2015
Received file number on 8th of June 2015 with a receipt of the visa fees
26th of January 2016 i received by post a letter from them with my points and the request for me to submit the IELTS and Tefaq exams.

Is this the file update phase i hear about?
Is my file in processing already?
