hi everyone
i got a huge problem !
i submitted my regular skill workers in December 2014 ,and in July 7 I submit my peq application but until now they did not open my file !
I want to know why it happened? Should I cancel my first regular skilled work application? If yes ,how many days it will be take ?
Thanks guys :-*

I changed from QSW to PEQ when I had acquired my year of skilled work experience in Canada. You don't have to send them everything again. What you send them is this:

- The "Change to an application for a selection certificate" form - under 2) you mark the third box ("Other") and write "Change of programs from QSW to PEQ"
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/publications/en/dcs/A-0520-MA-dyn.pdf

- The missing documents: work certificate from your employer proving your period of employment, 3 pay slips (the first, one in the middle and your latest)

I got my CSQ within a week after sending them this request. No need to send them a whole new application since they already have one of you.

thank you for your help .
i submitted my QSW with my girlfriend ,she was principle applicator I am spouse .but now I submit my peq application , I am the principle applicator .is that matter ?because I called agent ,they said I need to submit a new application .but until now already passed two months ,I did not get any feedback .

Of course, if you are switching positions it makes sense to me that you need to resubmit everything. :(

Hi everyone
I need more clarification about PEQ, I have applied one time but I got a refusal as I did not change my CAQ from PhD to master, and I corrected it and got CAQ for master but for correction situation I mean after my graduation then I have sent my previous PEQ application( copy and copies of all documents required) and letter for explanation and also CAQ, I did get response yet but I found that they withdraw another $765, is that normal as they mention when I got refusal that if I will apply as regular skill worker will not take another fees
Please advice

Hi All,

I am TFW in Montreal area working from Feb 14 for my company, this year July I applied for my PR under QSW however I am not sure if I am eligible for PEQ. I haven't taken any french training or test. So under working experience am I still eligible for PEQ class ? or should take a french test that's the mandatory thing for the PEQ class ?

Please advise.

Hii guys,

I have a question

I sent my PR application to nova scotia two months ago, yesterday my application returned to me because it was incomplete. what was missed is that the main application and the intend to reside in Quebec must be signed by hand not on computer (I just typed my name and dated at the first time). So they put a label on the signature box to sign there. So my question, I just signed in the box on the same returned application beside my [previously typed name and wrote the new date next to it. Then I sent back the same application as it is without printing any new one.

So, was it correct and will work or I should have printed a new application?
Also it might be returned again because of that?
and finally if it gonna be accepted, will I wait again two months to be processed or there is a priority in this case?

Regards

Re bold: this makes no sense ???

lol! after the CSQ, PR applications are sent to nova scotia.

Ahhhh :), I see what you mean now!

I believe what you did was correct (signing the form they returned to you & sending it back).

I doubt you will get any particular priority.

Hi everyone,
it seems my lawyers were finally able to send my application to Canada.

Quick question: given that they tend to 'forget' to communicate me updates, how much time did it take for you to receive the answer from your application?
In that reply, I suppose you can find the application number that you can use to track your status, correct?
(see here https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app= )

thanks a lot!

Hi Everyone,

I am in urgent need of advice/help from you guys.

I am working in Quebec since last 18 months. I have recently received my Quebec selection certificate through PEQ. I wished to know if I can change my employer with the CSQ without LMO and without applying for PR. I checked the link below which says so however I am not completely sure.

https://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/temporary-workers/stay-quebec/application-csq/workers-peq/after-csq.html

The link says: CSQ holders who are eligible for the LMO exemption can be:
temporary workers who wish to prolong the duration of their work permit for the job they hold or to renew it in order to hold a job offered by another Québec employer;

I will really appreciate some quick help on this.

Thanks
