My application status just turned to IN PROCESS after almost a year. Do you know how long it will take for passport request?

Can you please share your timeline?

Hi All

Just got an email with RCMP clearance certificate request.

Received yesterday another request, this time for RPRF. Curious, since I sent them the receipt with my application, almost one year ago.

Almost screwed up everything :-X :o :'(

They are requesting the landing fees!!! Just paid and sent them the pdf!

Wait...what?! So you paid the RPRF twice now?!

Hahaha, nope...

I thought it was the process fees and sent them the receipt again. I imagined that the landing fees were paid when we entered Canada

I don't get it...you thought the application fee was the RFPR fee? I'm confused...

Yes... When I read again the email that I realized there was was another option on CIC site for RPRF:

Go to the website: eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en
Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed
Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”
You must pay this fee once for yourself as principal applicant
You must also pay this fee for your accompanying spouse or common law partner, if you have one
Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490
Click “Submit”
Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with a credit card

For the application fees you have to go through 3 or 4 choices. That's why I figured out

Marlee, how did you do your Medicals upfront? I thought that option was reserved for some family-class applicants ...

I just went to the med centre here in Montréal, got them done and they sent it to CIC.

Hey folks,

I have been wondering...I got a job offer in a profession which is not related to my AOT. Can I still apply for a new work permit even though I would be changing professions?

I obtained my CSQ under the PEQ class and I have been wondering whether I am LMIA exempt for all professions or just the profession I am currently working in.

Thanks in advance!

I went to SPVM and they redirected me to L1, since I live outside the Island.

I paid $50 and they send the fingerprints to RCMP. When it's finished, RCMP send them to CPC-Ottawa

Hey guys!! I just received my CSQ via the Peq- quebec graduate program yesterday!! It showed up in my mailbox exactly in 20 days as promised. Super pumped to have gotten through the first step yet kinda nervous about the next. I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am to you all in this forum for all your support and advices. Im now gathering all my docs for the PR application as a QSW, so you can expect to hear back from me very soon! Wishing the rest of my comrades here all the success for your PR endeavors!
