For Qc, they only ask for previous year so 2020 in my case and yes i gave them proof of my maternity EI pay. I’m waiting for their answer. It’s been a week but nothing so far

I applied on October 13.
today, they told me i really have to submit financial documents for 2021 (T4, NOA) because as per the requirements, i have to submit my financial for the last 12 months and since we’re almost at the end of 2021, they gave me until march 31 2022 to submit them .
anyone else here have received the same request?

When our parents land in Quebec, would they be able to register for health card right away?

I checked on the RAMQ website, it seems that they need to wait for 3 months, but I just wanted to confirm, and I couldnt reach RAMQ over the phone now. Many thanks

the 3 months wait time start the day you apoly for the RAMQ. Only few treatments are covered during the waiting period such as pregnancy, contagious disease..). So the sooner you apply, the better. You will need the CSQ and the documents IRCC sign at the border don’t remember the name. Also, unless you’re in MTl and assuming they still do in person application, you will have to call and order the forms.

it seems that we need to register online for a call back, and only then they would mail the forms to us.

It seems like all appointments has been booked, but it seems like they add new slots every morning? https://www.ramq.gouv.qc.ca/en/contact-us/make-a-telephone-appointment

Im wondering if I could call a few days before my parents arrives, since I guess it will take some time to mail the forms and so on.

I’m not sure they will do anything if you say your parents haven’t landed yet. I heard in other groups that new slots are available around 7:30 or earlier.

I’ve been asked to submit my notice of assessment and T4 for 2021. So my application is on hold until February/march 2022 When i do my income tax

Oh, is there a reason why they also want to see your income for 2021? Would your pay stub have your current year's earning so far on it? Im so sorry to hear that

But it does seem that IRCC is moving quite fast, so once you get the CSQ, it should hopefully be very fast!

Im so sorry to hear that, that's very unfortunate Luckily we are almost at the end of the year, hopefully you will get an update soon once you have your T4 and NOA for 2021.

Thanks, I will try to look at the exact timeline and give an update later, but my timeline is roughly (according to memory)

Application received: very early Feb
Medical and fingerprint request: early Sep
Medical and fingerprint done: mid Sep
Sponsor approval: early Sep
CSQ sent: late Sep
CSQ received: early Nov
CSQ sent to IRCC: early Nov
DM: end of Nov
PPR: few days after DM
Passport sent: the day after PPR
Passport received: a little more than a week after being sent.

Our processing office is: Mississauga

Hey I managed to get one yesterday.

I woke up at 6am and started refreshing the page every few min ....new spots were released around 8.20am, it was only for Jan and for a single day. But all the spots were gone by 9am.
